Global prayer initiative for a united Jerusalem under Jewish sovereignity according to the Word of God

The Israeli Defence minister calls it a a diplomatic tsunami hitting Israel this fall. Others have called it a Jewish black September.

A unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood at the UN General Assembly in New York in September is gaining momentum. A number of Latin-American countries have already recognized a Palestinian state. On Long Friday Turkey joined the growing number of UN member states which are demanding a PA state. France has expressed its support to Abbas and is trying to coordinate with other EU nations . The UK is keeping all options open.

An Islamic Palestinian state according ot the 1949 armistice demarcation lines would consist of Samaria, Judea and East Jerusalem as its capital. After 44 years as the capital of Israel and a united city which has

been open for people of all faith Jerusalem would again be closed under Islamic rule.

This is at stake:
If a recommendation to recognize a Palestinian state is brought to the UN General Assembly in September it is likely to receive qualified support. Fatah leader Mahmud Abbas believes that he already has 150 of the 192 votes secured for a UN recommendation.

Though a UN recommendation per-se could not declare a Palestinian state, it would have serious geo-political consequences. Many fear that a premature recognition of a PA state could ignite a new regional war in the same way as the German recognition of Croatia and Slovenia led to the Yugoslav war (1991-1995). In the current upheavel in the Middle East a new regional war would immediately destabilize the global economy and international security.

A future Palestinian state with East Jerusalem ( including the Old City ) under Islamic rule would lead back to a situation similar to pre-1967 when no Jews could enter the Old City and pray at the Western Wall.

Help us get intercessors for all countries below

We are looking for intercessors from all UN members countries. All the flags marked in colour represent prayer meetings that are going to be organized in the respective country during the UN General Assembly between 13-23 September 2011. Please inform us if you want to organize a prayer meeting in your own country.

Many synagogues were destroyed though the Jordanian government, which controlled the holy sites at the time, has always been considered to be a moderate regime and a Western ally. A new Palestinian state, under the influence of radical Islam, would create an even more volatile situation, similar to Taliban control of Buddhist holy sites in Afghanistan.

Mahmud Abbas from the moderate Fatah has made it clear that no Jews would be allowed to live in a future Palestinian state. This would in fact create a new Apartheid state, a new Judenfrei territory in the Middle East similar to the Nazi aspirations in Europe just one generation ago. It is clear from the charter of Hamas, now a coalition partner in the new Palestinian unity government, that there can be no final peace before all of Palestine is liberated from the infidels.

Hence no sustainable peace can be expected from a UN declaration of a Palestinina state but only a temporary ceasefire before the whole of Palestine is to be cleansed from the Jews.

The next few months will be decisive as how the UN member states will vote. Will the US use their veto? How will the EU member states vote? How will countries with large Bible believing constituencies in Africa, Asia and Latin America vote? Will your nation come against Israel or will you be among those who chose to align with God's purposes for His city? The choice is one between blessings or curse.

The word of God is very clear. Jerusalem is His city which he has promised with an eternal covenant to the Jewish people. As Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem he was challenged with the enemies of Israel. He made a declaration which is true still to this day; you have no claim to her. Jerusalem is the eternal and undivided capital of Israel.

As people of God we are called to follow the example of Nehemiah and arise and build the walls of Jerusalem. In ancient time the walls made up the protection and security over a city. This is the time to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem through prayer and through strenghtening the historical truths and legal claim to Jerusalem. Please pray that your nation would not be among those who would try to divide up the land.

We call upon the people of God, worldwide to take a stand with Israel in the coming months, leading up to the vote in the UN General Assemby in mid September.

This is not about politics, this is about the Word of God but the political ramifications are dramatic. We are planing prayer efforts throughout this period with updates and prayer points. Please join us for Zions sake and for your own nations sake.

Pledge
We commit ourselves to pray for an open and united Jerusalem under Jewish sovereignty, according to International Law and the Word of God.

We will help convey this message to those in our sphere of influence and keep them updated with relevant news and updates.

We will support regular prayer meetings in our nation in order to align with God's purposes for our nation and for Jerusalem. We will issue a call for prayer during the months leading up to the opening week of the UN General Assembly, starting on 13th September, 2011.
